about
This track is the rendition of 'Break 'Dem Rules' by Maude Morris, who wrote the song for the New Zealand web-series 'Lovely Little Losers' on YouTube. It was performed by Reuben Hudson in the original video, which can be found here:
VERSE ONE:
You have waited months
For this to come,
To see us here,
We’ve come so far.
We have opened up
Our eyes to see,
There’s nothing left,
We need to fear.
CHORUS:
They can’t tell us how to live this - we will break the rules.
We’ve been jealous, stuck by madness, but we can break the rules,
That’s what they’re meant to do.
VERSE TWO:
You can stand apart,
Ignore your head,
Follow your heart,
‘Cause it knows best.
If it sounds right,
Take a chance on life.
Take that weight off of your shoulders
So you can rest your head on mine.
CHORUS
BRIDGE:
The instructions on life aren’t as clear as they seem,
You have a complete checklist but not a complete me.
So don’t wait for leaders you can do it alone,
If you have no fear it’ll become known.
CHORUS

I feel as though I can identify with all of these songs. Your voice is so unique it often tells more than the words you sing. I honestly couldn't pick a favourite track they are all so developed and absolutely astounding, but I chose Keep It Up because I have one of the lines on my cork board, "And it doesn't matter if either of us were sad, cause sadness doesn't exist in our world that I wish we had." It's just very raw and beautiful. Keep up the great work. :) Sarah Jensen
They may be named for a “Twin Peaks” villain, but there’s nothing menacing about Wyndham Earl’s rich and stirring psych soundscapes. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 15, 2020
