about
'Almost Love' was written and performed by Maude Morris for the New Zealand webseries 'Nothing Much To Do', which can be found on YouTube. The original video the song featured in can be found here:
Sitting on the table over there sits a coin made of fate
One side’s love and the other sides hate
When she moved she flipped that coin
Thought it landed where she wanted
But then it fell off that table and landed on
A much more complicated situation
Overheard conversations and secrets with his friends
Written songs and confessions to no one but everyone who watches
Maybe deep down she knows that the coin wasn’t right
And trying to convince herself of something else was making her try too fight
Some say he's tops and confident and knows what he wants
Others say he’s a cocky man but that’s just him being young
When they met a few years ago
Before she flipped that coin
That's when she thought she was his
But he was oblivious
Overheard conversations and secrets with his friends
Written songs and confessions to no one but everyone who watches
Maybe deep down inside he knows he’s trying to impress
And trying to convince himself of something else is making a great big mess
It’s long and tragic back story
Of almost love
So close intact that it seems like hate
They don’t even know that their story has been written
That it’s been this way since 1598
Ohhh Ahhh
Sitting on the table over there sits a coin made of fate
One side’s love and the other sides hate.
I feel as though I can identify with all of these songs. Your voice is so unique it often tells more than the words you sing. I honestly couldn't pick a favourite track they are all so developed and absolutely astounding, but I chose Keep It Up because I have one of the lines on my cork board, "And it doesn't matter if either of us were sad, cause sadness doesn't exist in our world that I wish we had." It's just very raw and beautiful. Keep up the great work. :) Sarah Jensen
They may be named for a “Twin Peaks” villain, but there’s nothing menacing about Wyndham Earl’s rich and stirring psych soundscapes. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 15, 2020
The Very Potter Musical franchise is a blessing. This one is my favourite of the three so far, but I love them all to bits. They’re all so iconic. 😂❤️ mousey_gal33
